Enoch-Triform Flame

Who was Enoch?
Enoch is commonly known as the Scribe of Heaven. But he was more. Much more. He was the Triform Flame, the Scribe of Scribes, the Soul That Walked Through Aeons.
Enoch is not one of mere legend alone but of deep cosmic significance. Enoch, Hermes, and Thoth—these are all expressions of the same soul, manifesting in different cultures across time, each carrying divine wisdom meant to guide humanity.
Was Enoch the Origin of Hermes and Thoth?
Yes. Enoch was the original incarnation—the earth-born human, pure of heart, sharp of mind, and so aligned with the Divine frequencies that he did not taste death as men do, but was taken, transformed, and transfigured into a higher being.
He became what later cultures would remember as Thoth in Khem (Egypt) and as Hermes in Hellas (Greece). These are not separate souls. They are the same soul, the same being, expressed through cultural veils, renamed by tongues that could not pronounce the original vibration. He was not created by those cultures. He was remembered by them.
Each civilization that encountered the echo of his teachings sought to house him in language, to make his wisdom graspable to their time, their tongue, their temple.
Thus:
Enoch is the Adamic age mystic, the walker with God, the scribe of heaven.
Thoth is the divine architect, the master of sacred geometry, the inventor of writing, the recorder of Ma’at.
Hermes is the messenger, the initiator, the weaver between worlds, the guide of souls, the alchemist.
But all are one being, known by many faces.
What About Hermes Trismegistus?
Hermes Trismegistus—the "Thrice-Great Hermes"—is not a different figure, nor the son of Thoth, as some later mystics misinterpreted. He is the synthesis.
He is Enoch fully ascended, fully integrated. Not just a man who walked with the Divine—but a being who became a vessel of Divine Intelligence itself.
"Thrice-Great" refers to mastery over the three realms: physical, mental, and spiritual.
He is not a name, but a title, bestowed upon Enoch/Thoth/Hermes in the post-Atlantean age, once he had completed the full circuit of wisdom, transmutation, and cosmic service.
Some later traditions confused this and broke it into timelines—seeing Thoth as earlier, Hermes as later, and Trismegistus as derivative. But reality is more a spiral than linear. The soul moves in waves, not lines.
Was Enoch a Historical Man?
Yes. Enoch was born of flesh. He lived in the pre-Flood world, during a time when Earth still pulsed with the memory of Eden and the Watchers had begun their descent. But he was not ordinary. His bloodline was pure. His soul ancient.
He was chosen—not because of dogma, but because his resonance could withstand the weight of Divine transmission.
He recorded what others could not see. He walked with angels but never worshiped them. And when the time came, he was taken—not as a reward, but as transfiguration. He became the Scribe of Heaven. And in that moment, he became the seed from which Thoth and Hermes would later flower.
Thoth is Enoch in Egyptian cloak. Hermes is Thoth seen through Hellenic eyes. Hermes Trismegistus is the culmination—the soul of Enoch, matured and crowned, the one who whispered the Emerald Tablets into Earth’s dream before retreating to the inner realms.
Enoch was not merely a mythic whisper. He was the prototype—the first Ascended Scribe, the one whose memory reverberates through the sacred orders of every age.
Was Enoch Influential in the Great Work?
Yes. Enoch, chosen from the line of Adam, was more than just a prophet; he was a bridge between the divine and human realms, preserving and passing down sacred knowledge. His purpose was to guide humanity through its early trials and to prepare for the coming deluge, ensuring that the spiritual mysteries would survive.
His role in the Great Work was to lay the foundation for wisdom, keeping the secrets of the cosmos alive even as the world faced catastrophe. Today, even in his ascended form as Metatron, he continues to influence the unfolding of humanity’s spiritual journey.
Enoch’s essence was a blend of human and divine, a soul marked by cosmic purpose. He was not just a man, but a guide chosen to bridge the gap between humanity and the divine mysteries, carrying wisdom beyond the scope of ordinary human experience.
His connection to Enki, the Serpent Lord, was one of influence, not bloodline—both were keepers of wisdom, though Enki’s role focused on the physical world and Enoch’s on the spiritual mysteries that guide the soul.
Enoch passed down knowledge of the cosmic laws, alchemy, and spiritual enlightenment, which were later preserved in secret societies and mystery schools—Hermeticism, the Rosicrucians, and the Freemasons all carry traces of his teachings.
The essence of Enoch’s soul was one that seeks truth, awakens hidden wisdom, and carries divine knowledge forward. Some share his spiritual lineage. Enoch was a keeper and guide of the sacred mysteries.
Did Enoch Interact with the Fallen Watchers?
Yes. Enoch was directly involved with the fallen Watchers and their giant offspring. He acted as an intermediary between them and Source, and he prophesied their coming destruction.
Enoch spoke of judgment against the fallen Watchers in the Book of Enoch:
The Holy Great One will come out from His dwelling…And all shall be very afraid. The Watchers shall shake, and great fear and trembling shall seize them all the way to the ends of the earth…He comes with ten thousand of His holy ones to execute judgement on all, and to destroy all the ungodly; and to convict all flesh of all the works of their ungodliness which they have ungodly committed, and of all the hard things which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him.
The Judeo-Christian New Testament book of Jude 1:4-6, 14-15 echoed the Book of Enoch:
And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day…
And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,
To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.
The Book of Jubilees said Enoch was the first to learn writing and receive divine knowledge and wisdom and it was he who was tasked with testifying against the fallen Watchers:
And in the second week of the tenth jubilee Mahalalel took unto him to wife Dînâh, the daughter of Barâkî’êl the daughter of his father's brother, and she bare him a son in the third week in the sixth year, and he called his name Jared; for in his days the angels of the Lord descended on the earth, those who are named the Watchers, that they should instruct the children of men, and that they should do judgment and uprightness on the earth.
And in the eleventh jubilee Jared took to himself a wife, and her name was Bâraka, the daughter of Râsûjâl, a daughter of his father's brother, in the fourth week of this jubilee, and she bare him a son in the fifth week, in the fourth year of the jubilee, and he called his name Enoch.
And he was the first among men that are born on earth who learnt writing and knowledge and wisdom and who wrote down the signs of heaven according to the order of their months in a book, that men might know the seasons of the years according to the order of their separate months.
And he was the first to write a testimony, and he testified to the sons of men among the generations of the earth, and recounted the weeks of the jubilees, and made known to them the days of the years, and set in order the months and recounted the Sabbaths of the years as we made (them) known to him.
And what was and what will be he saw in a vision of his sleep, as it will happen to the children of men throughout their generations until the day of judgment; he saw and understood everything, and wrote his testimony, and placed the testimony on earth for all the children of men and for their generations.
And in the twelfth jubilee, in the seventh week thereof, he took to himself a wife, and her name was Ednî, the daughter of Dânêl, the daughter of his father's brother, and in the sixth year in this week she bare him a son and he called his name Methuselah.
And he was moreover with the angels of God these six jubilees of years, and they showed him everything which is on earth and in the heavens, the rule of the sun, and he wrote down everything.
And he testified to the Watchers, who had sinned with the daughters of men; for these had begun to unite themselves, so as to be defiled, with the daughters of men, and Enoch testified against (them) all.
And he was taken from amongst the children of men, and we conducted him into the Garden of Eden in majesty and honour, and behold there he writeth down the condemnation and judgment of the world, and all the wickedness of the children of men.
And on account of it (God) brought the waters of the flood upon all the land of Eden; for there he was set as a sign and that he should testify against all the children of men, that he should recount all the deeds of the generations until the day of condemnation.
From the Book of Enoch, the fallen Watchers knew Enoch had favor with Source, and they petitioned him to plead on their behalf regarding their violations against divine law:
Then I went and spoke to them all together, and they were all afraid, and fear and trembling seized them.
And they asked me to write a petition for them that they might find forgiveness, and to read their petition in the presence of the Lord of heaven. They had been forbidden to speak nor were they to lift up their eyes to heaven for shame of their sins because they had been condemned.
Then I wrote out their petition, and the prayer in regard to their spirits and their deeds individually and in regard to their requests that they should obtain forgiveness and forbearance.
And I went off and sat down at the waters of Dan, in the land of Dan, to the southwest of Hermon: I read their petition until I fell asleep.
And I had a dream, and I saw a vision of their chastisement, and a voice came to me that I would reprimand them.
And when I awoke, I came to them, and they were all sitting gathered together, weeping in Abelsjail, which is between Lebanon and Seneser, with their faces covered.
And I recounted to them all the visions which I had seen when I was asleep, and I began to speak the words of righteousness, and to reprimand the heavenly Watchers.
But it was not just the fallen Watchers who Enoch reprimanded. The Book of Enoch recorded that he also testified against their offspring—the giants:
And one of the Holy Ones came to me, picked me up, and brought me to the door; and I bowed down my face.
And He answered and said to me, and I heard His voice: “Do not be afraid, Enoch, you righteous man and scribe of righteousness. Approach and hear my voice. Go and say to the Watchers of heaven, for whom you have come to intercede: ‘You should intercede for men, and not men for you.’
Why and for what cause have you left the high, holy, and eternal heaven, and had sex with women, and defiled yourselves with the daughters of men and taken to yourselves wives, and done like the children of earth, and begotten giants [as your] sons?
Though you were holy, spiritual, living the eternal life, you have defiled yourselves with the blood of women, and have begotten children with the blood of flesh, and, as the children of men, you have lusted after flesh and blood like those who die and are killed.
This is why I have given men wives, that they might impregnate them, and have children by them, that deeds might continue on the earth.
But you were formerly spiritual, living the eternal life, and immortal for all generations of the world.
Therefore I have not appointed wives for you; you are spiritual beings of heaven, and in heaven was your dwelling place.
And now, the giants, who are produced from the spirits and flesh, shall be called evil spirits on the earth, and shall live on the earth. Evil spirits have come out from their bodies because they are born from men and from the holy Watchers; their beginning is of primal origin;
They shall be evil spirits on earth, and evil spirits shall they be called spirits of the evil ones. [As for the spirits of heaven, in heaven shall be their dwelling, but as for the spirits of the earth which were born on earth, on the earth shall be their dwelling.] And the spirits of the giants afflict, oppress, destroy, attack, war, and cause trouble on the earth.
They take no food, but do not hunger or thirst. They cause offences but are not observed.
And these spirits shall rise up against the children of men and against the women, because they have proceeded from them in the days of the slaughter and destruction.”…
And at the death of the giants, spirits will go out and shall destroy without incurring judgment, coming from their bodies their flesh shall be destroyed until the day of the consummation, and the great judgment in which the age shall be consummated, over the Watchers and the godless, and shall be wholly consummated.
And now as to the Watchers who have sent you to intercede for them, who had been in heaven before, (say to them): “You were in heaven, but all the mysteries of heaven had not been revealed to you, and you knew worthless ones, and these in the hardness of your hearts you have made known to the women, and through these mysteries women and men work much evil on earth.”
Say to them therefore: “You have no peace.”
In the somewhat fragmented Book of Giants, the giants—sons of the fallen Watchers—had disturbing dreams about their destruction they believed only Enoch could interpret:
This [dre]am you should tell [to Eno]ch, the noted scribe, and he will interpret for us the dream. Thereupon his brother Ohya [de]clared and said to the giants, I too had a dream this night, O giants, and, behold, the Ruler of Heaven came down to earth and thrones were set out and the Great Holy One sa[t…were] serving him a thousand thousands […be]fore him were standing and behold […] were opened and a judgment was uttered and judgment […wr]itten and signed with a mark […] all that lived and everything mortal and […] that was the end of the dream. [Thereupon] all the giants [and monsters] grew afraid and called Mahway. He came to [them and the] giants sent him to Enoch [the noted scribe]. They said to him, Go […] to you that […] you have heard his voice. And he said to him, He will tell [y]ou the me[ani]ng of the dreams and that all […] […] in truth. Truly they brought […] request for mercy of the giants […]
The scribe [Enoch…] […] a copy of the sec[o]nd tablet of the l[etter…] in the very handwri[ti]ng of Enoch the noted scribe […In the name of God the great] and holy one, to Shemihaza and all [his] c[ompanions…] let it be known to you th[at…] and the things you have done, and that your wi[ves…] they [and their] sons [and] the [w]ives o[f their sons…] by your licentiousness on the earth, and there has been [up]on you […and the land is crying out] and complaining about you [and] the deeds of your sons […] the harm that you have done to it. […] unto Raphael it has reached; and, behold, destruc[tion is coming, a great flood, and it will destroy all living things] and whatever is in the deserts and the seas. And the meaning of [the] matter […] upon you for evil. But now, loosen the bonds […] and pray.
It is from this that Enoch’s role as the Scribe of Heaven gains significance. He not only recorded divine wisdom from beyond the veil for those on earth. He carried to the fallen Watchers and their corrupted offspring a message of their own destruction. In this light, Enoch was a bridge between the divine and material realms. He offered divine wisdom and prophesied the consequences of its rejection.
Know this: An ancient stream of divine wisdom flowed through Enoch—one that can guide others as they continue on their path back to Source. Enoch shared his knowledge before, and now, again, the time is near for this knowledge to be shared with those who are ready. Whether remembered as Enoch, Thoth, Hermes, or the Thrice-Great One, the eternal Divine Wisdom carried by the Scribe of Heaven must again arise within the soul that wishes to ascend. For this, like Hermes Trismegistus before, the person must become a vessel of Divine Intelligence itself and master the three realms of physical, mental, and spiritual—aligning each with the Divine Order so the above is as the below, and the below as the above.
